How TREU Is Paid
The supplier you select pays TREU. You never receive an invoice from us, and you pay the same price you would going direct. Most services pay us for as long as the agreement runs, and we stay with every agreement: at business reviews, at renewal and when you need something new.
Book a conversationWho Pays TREU, and When
- Each month, for as long as the agreement runs.
- Once, for some services. On a dark fiber indefeasible right of use (IRU), a long-term right to use specific fiber strands, the supplier pays a percentage of the total contract value.
- Ask, and we will tell you what the supplier pays us.
You Pay the Same Price as Going Direct
Suppliers already build channel compensation into their pricing. Through TREU, it pays for an advocate on your side.
Why Our Recommendation Doesn’t Follow the Money
Rates are generally the same across suppliers for a given service type, so we have no reason to steer you to one supplier.
What the Supplier’s Payment Covers
See how we work-
Supplier identification
We take each requirement to the whole market, VARs included, wherever your sites are.
-
Buying cycle
We run the meetings, the follow-up and the proposal comparisons, and walk the paperwork through procurement and legal.
-
Implementation oversight and accountability
We hold the supplier to the install dates, acceptance and the first invoice.
-
Client and supplier lifecycle management
We sit in on your supplier business reviews and handle each renewal, for as long as the agreement runs.
We don’t monitor service levels, usage or monthly invoices. For invoice audit, usage tracking and disputes, we source a specialist expense management (TEM) provider.
Supplier reps and VARs do valuable work, and TREU works with them every day.
Compare the three ways to buyQuestions About How TREU Is Paid
Do we ever pay TREU?
No. TREU is paid by the supplier you select, never by you. You won’t receive an invoice from us.
Will we pay more than going direct?
No. You pay the same price through TREU as you would going direct.
Does TREU earn more from some suppliers than others?
Rates vary by type of service but are generally the same across suppliers within a type, so our recommendation is not influenced by which supplier you choose.
Will you tell us what the supplier pays you?
Yes. Ask, and we will tell you what the supplier pays us.
Why wouldn’t TREU push bigger contracts or longer terms?
Our income depends on keeping you as a client, not on the size of any one contract. The wrong solution often means starting over in three years, and the client relationship goes with it. We look for the right supplier the first time: one that can grow with you.
Is TREU a reseller?
No. TREU does not resell technology. We compete the market, including suppliers and VARs, and negotiate on your behalf.
